I ran courant bags for GRIMP Day Namur and loved them. Large stowage for kit. Easy to deploy and access kit quickly. The fully openable duffle allows me to see my full kit without having to dig through pockets. If another rescuer is using my bag, or vice-versa, it's easy enough to reassemble based on their preferred layout. From a competitive rope rescue standpoint, speed is key and this bag allows for that. They're built sturdy as well. I had the opportunity to hang with the Courant folks during GRIMP Day and they were open to a bunch of feedback. They integrated my idea of a flip panel to the large volume bag and ran a few R&D kit bags, hopefully we'll see that rollout in the near future. The color offerings are fantastic as well, this gives visual delineation between diffrent operators carrying specific kit. Anyway, I could go on and on...if you're on the fence about buying this bag, just go ahead and buy it. You won't regret it.

I have had the XL version of this pack, which is stuffed full of SRT gear for various scenarios and trainings. I decided to buy the smaller version too so I can swap gear between them. It is very nice. I wish it had a sunglasses pouch like the XL but that's a minor inconvenience. A great pack.
